Either it's cultural or it's caught. What I mean by that is, either it's just something that we do socially and societally and don't know why or it's something that we grow to understand and acknowledge. Either way, it's familiar: we hate to bother people - especially when we perceive them as bigger/more important/busier than we.
But, even as the Son of God, Jesus loves to be bothered by us. And, in love undeserved and cross-defined he reminds us that he's never too big to take time to hear us and help us, nor are any problems too big to be addressed by him. How can we be so sure? Because our Savior is never overwhelmed, but he is and remains over-all!
